Hello Laurel Families,

We are looking forward to the start of the 2024/2025 school year! The first day of school is Wednesday, September 4th. Drop off is between 8:05-8:20 am and pick-up is 3:15-3:30 pm. 

Please save the date for our Blacktop Bash on September 6th from 3:30-5:30 pm. There will be sidewalk chalk, music, student-run concessions, and more!  

Some of you may have noticed our blacktop was in significant need of repair. Normally schools like ours would spend months or years fundraising for these larger purchases, but the chairman of our school board understood our need and jumped in to help. He grew up struggling in school, and had difficulty with study for much of his life. He understands and is passionate about the value of individualized, effective education and the small class sizes that we are able to offer our students. 

We are so grateful for this contribution and we invite you all to celebrate it!

If your student is new to Laurel Academy, you are welcome to come at 3:00 pm on Friday the 6th for a special tour and orientation with Principal Jeanne.
